Describe what health and safety factors need to be taken into account when moving and positioning individuals and any equipment used to do this.

Thanks anyone

Hi molliann,

Are there any hazards such as wet floor, rugs to trip over etc, is the equipment working/safe eg bare wires, broken parts etc, has the individual's condition worsened ie can they still communicated/understand, are they weaker etc, can you do it alone or do you need help?

That sort of thing.

Hope that helps

Aunty Sue
