Hi pinkcandy,

You should find a lot of what you need with these and in your setting's policies and procedures:

http://www.elderabuse.org.uk/

http://www.adass.org.uk/old/publications/guidance/safeguarding.pdf

Also see you local Safeguarding Adults Board website.

Roles - Social services, police, health, voluntary and private agencies - research their roles.

Advice - your own management and policies and procedures, local safeguarding board, guidelines such as the essential standards and the social care worker's codes of practice.........

Hope that helps

Hi Aunty Sue Can you help me with this one please

produce a handout to be used during a staff induction for an adult social care service of your choosing
the handout must include

an outline of what is meant by agreed ways of working
an explantion of the importance of having  ful and up-to-date details of the agreed ways of working
a description of why it is important that social care workers follow guidance about the limits of their job role

                                                                      Thank you
