Produce a handout to be used during a staff induction for an adult social care service of your choosing
the handout must include
an outline of what is meant by agreed ways of working
an explantion of the importance of having  ful and up-to-date details of the agreed ways of working
a description of why it is important that social care workers follow guidance about the limits of their job role

Any help would be great thanks

Hi pinkcandy,

All health and social care professions have identified certain principles and ways of working as 'good practice'. Standards and guidelines have been produced for settings to develop their policies and procedures to provide agreed ways of working for their staff.

Why do you think that policies and procedures should be kept up to date?

Why should workers not go beyond their role? Think about what might happen if the did a job that they are not qualified to do.

Hope that helps
