Hi misty,

Give a couple of examples of legislation and workplace policies and explain how they affect individuals and their families.

For example the Human Rights Act and the right to respect for private and family life or the Equality Act 2010 and access to goods, services and facilities (see here: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/DisabledPeople/RightsAndObligations/DisabilityRights/DG_4001068 ).

For workplace policies you could use any, for example Equal Opps, Confidentiality, Safeguarding etc.

Hope that helps

Aunty Sue
