Identify what is causing the stress
Then decide if anything that can be changed and do this
Talk to some one if its possible
Try letting it all out scream or shout or even cry.
Reduce the amount of activity going on in your life.
Give yourself a break even a few minutes

then there is bad ways which is

Hi littlelady,

You have given a list of strategies that you can use but you are asked to compare them.

For more ideas see here:

http://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/Stressmanagement/Pages/Stressbusters.aspx

Think about the situations where each of the might or might not work. Also why would getting drunk etc not be a good idea (compared with the other strategies)?

Hope that helps

Aunty Sue

Drugs and stress come side by side. My neighbor is taking counselling sessions to quit alcohol from one of reputed addiction counseling Virginia clinic since couple of months. He has undergone many medications in the past but were ineffective. But has improved a lot after visiting this addiction centre.
