i seem to have devolped a mental block and could use a little help please. analyse factors that influnece the capacity of an individual to express consent. so far i have..........To be able to express consent the individual must be able to have a comprehension of the decision being made, and  an understanding of any consequences of the decision. They must also be able to communicate their preference.
thanks

Hi the_onas,

You could explain a bit more about being able to communicate eg they need to conscious, understand the language ie in their own language, or signed if deaf etc. They also need to feel free to express decisions ie not afraid.

Hope that helps
