 Embarrassed could anyone help me with this outcome please i have been stuck on it for what feels like ages  Cry

1. Explain how legislation and codes of practise relating to equality, diversity and discrimination apply to own work role

any help i would be much greatful

Hi katz,

Give examples of legislation such as the Human Rights Act, the Disability Discrimination Act, the Race Relations Act and the Health and Social Care Act (Regulated activities) and the Essential Standards and the Code of Practice for Social Care Workers. Next explain how they affect your role eg you must provide information in the form or language that the individual can understand, you must make sure that an individual in a wheelchair has equal access to activities. Give some examples of your own.
