Dear All,

3.1 How does own role fit within the service delivery provided
3.2  what is the effect of own role on service provision
3.3 how does role link to the wider sector
3.4  what are the main roles and responsibilities of representative bodies that influence the wider sector.

These may be easier to answer if the wording was not so "deep".  In my humble opinion, they should make the wording simpler to comprehend.

Thank you.

Hi samday,

Where does your job fit into your team. For example you may have a manager, line managers, co-workers etc.  What is your job role in relation to these others.

By following good practice you provide appropriate care, if you didn't individuals would suffer. Explain the importance of your communication skills, cooperation, not going outside your job role etc.

Explain how the National Occupational Standards outline your role and how they cover multi agency working. Also look at the Code of Practice for Social Care Workers and explain what they say about this. Give examples of when you have worked with others from other agencies eg health - nurses, doctors, nutritionists, occupational health etc. What was your role when working with them?

Research Government agencies eg DOH, CQC, Unions eg UNISON, charities eg MIND, RNIB - research advice etc, Skills for care - setting standards etc.

Hope that helps

Aunty Sue
