Hi there,

I just wanted to ask if anyone of you assessors has had an observation to teaching and leaning for the purpose of meeting Ofsted standards. I have to create a session plan and have my observation on Tuesday next week.
Can anyone reassure me that this is absolutely nothing to worry about and does anyone have any brilliant ideas to creating a session plan.

Many thanks

Marion

Hi Marion

I might be a bit late as your observation is today, but if I'm not late. My advice is double check how long your inspector is going to be with you. (sometimes they observe the whole session, sometimes they only stay for half an hour) If they aren't staying for the whole session then adjust your training so they can see you embedding E&D, Safeguarding of the learner and Functional skills because even if you planned to do that once they have left, they will pull you up on it, to say it never happened..
