Hi missudi,

You need to speak with your assessor. He/she should give you guidance and plan your work with you.

Hope that helps

Hi missudi,

I'm not sure what they mean by specifications but you should have the standards for each unit. These list what you need to show that you do and what you need to show that you have the knowledge and understanding of. Take a look at those.

Your assessor should have left you with some work to do such as questions or worksheets. There are some on the main site but I hesitate to suggest that you do these until you have spoken with your assessor.

Hope that helps

Hi missudi,

If it is just the NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care and it isn't combined with another award you will be doing HSC 31, HSC 32, HSC 33 and either HSC 34 (if for Children and Young People) or HSC 35 (if for adults). These are the 4 mandatory units that you must do. You then choose 4 more units from the optional units - 8 units in total.

HSC 369, HSC 360 and HSC 375 are optional units. Your assessor must be starting you on these.

I don't know why you have reference to element 40.1,2,3, unit 69 and unit 41 unless they are linked to a second award.

I suggest you wait until you see your assessor again. In the meantime you could look around the main site here: www.thenvqman.co.uk for resources that may be useful when you are under way with your NVQ.

Come back to the forum if you need us.

Hope that helps
