Hello all.

Im on  unit CT301 -Understanding health and safety and in social care settings.

Section 8.1 Says outline procedures to be followed in the social care setting to PREVENT
1) Intruding
2) Security Breach

Section 8.2 Says outline procedures to be followed in the social care setting in the EVENT of
1) Intruding
2) Security Breach

I personally think both an intruder and a security breach are very similar?
So in your opinion whats the difference?

Thanks

Hi missy b28,

Intruding is when someone physically puts them self in a place where they are not welcome or allowed.

A security breach is where information which is kept private and secure has been accessed deliberately by someone who is unauthorised to do so

Look for your own policies on how to prevent and respond to these.

Hope that helps
